Follow the Leader

As I'm writing this my husband is watching a special on a world-class skateboarder. This guy is 41 years old and still skating daily. He owns his own 14 foot half pipe and sponsors his own line of clothing. At this point he could easily retire and enjoy the fruits of his labor - but he's still working his bum off to be the best skater he can be. I just heard him say, "I got to walk the talk. If I'm not living it, then I shouldn't be selling it."

I don't think any more needs to be said. When you read this little blog entry, simply ask yourself one thing:
Am I selling something that I am not living?

If the answer is yes, then let me suggest this; open up your bible and read about the man named Jesus. His death is central to the message of Christianity because it offers salvation - but his life is the only thing that can bring us freedom and purpose while we're still here on earth. He's a pretty good example.

He lived it.
