Throughout my life as a believer I have always had fabulous mentors, disciplers, and friends to encourage and challenge me in my faith. I am so grateful that God put such wonderful people in my path, and I know that they are all a part of the woman that I am today. This morning I was going to sit down and write a blog. But before I began my own, I read two entries from women whose blogs I have been following. And I have decided that instead of sharing my own thoughts with you today, I'll encourage you to check out theirs. It is a reminder to me, and hopefully to you as well, that we need each other to figure this all out.
One of these ladies is a young woman who I love, respect, and cherish more than words could express. She was one of my very first youth group girls; she is strong, deep, beautiful, and totally dependent on Jesus. She is every day an example to me - no matter her age.
The other is a woman I have never met, but one whose words inspire and encourage me to dig deeper in my faith and understand why I believe what I believe. She is honest and transparent, and I believe the women who are under her care must be so wonderfully blessed to have her there. . . I might have to take a road trip soon.
So, if you have a few moments, please check out these blogs today. They will encourage you, teach you, and hopefully inspire you to walk with Jesus more closely.
